![]() You will amaze people with the tone you get, and even moreso when you tell them what you paid. ![]() This would be the perfect gigging horn if you have a more expensive tenor you want to protect from bar gigs, or if you are looking for some doubling work on tenor, or just want a high-quality tenor for a low price. This was kindly done by Bianca Stohrer, and looks great! This horn just got some beautiful floral engraving done that adds uniqueness and interest to an otherwise plain bell. ![]() The 32/52 was based on the purple logo 62 tenor, but was made as an intermediate horn, so it had no engraving and “post construction” as opposed to the stiffer “ribbed construction.” Apart from these two differences it is basically the same horn as the expensive early YTS-62 tenor. But the tone is more rich and full, and it feels a bit more lively than a modern 62. The Yamaha 52 tenor (sold as 32 in Europe) is an almost-professional tenor sax that is basically on par with today’s 62 models.
